Magic at 6 weeks pregnant. She's eating twice a day, tiring more easily, walking around the yard instead of running at breakneck speed. She got her short "maternity" haircut today.

Three weeks old, 8/1/09 and puppies are standing, and eating puppy mush from a dish, although mom's milk is always the best. They got baths and colored collars put on for easy identification. Boys are orange, purple and lt blue, girls are lt green, lt pink and gold. Puppies are spending days in the kitchen, nights in the whelping box in the office - I need to be able to clean, and it's much easier if puppies aren't tracking everything around. Laundry has become my new primary occupation. We even spent a few minutes out on the deck - pups didn't realize the world was so big.

Five weeks old today. another weigh-in and collar change. First haircut is done - whew! Now they are mixed and mingled with Mimi's puppies.
