ASHCROFT BEDLINGTONS |

2006 BTCA National Specialty was held in Louisville, KY March 15, followed by four all-breed
shows. Ashcroft Hart To Heart (Sox aka Beep-ette) was
BOS in Sweepstakes.

Ashcroft Tug At Your Hart was RWD at the National Specialty and won a 4 point major under
Mrs. Forsyth on Saturday.
Tug is up to 7 points with one major under
his belt at
8 mos old. Their sire, MBISS Ch Sangeo Farscape AX,AXJ,CD,RN was BOB three of the five days
and also won a Terrier Group 3, as well as the Stud Dog Class and BOS at the 2006 National.
Ch Boardwalk Ticket To The Moon won a nice BOB under
Jon Cole in NJ in March.

2005 National Specialty News:
Ch. Sangeo Farscape (aka Talyn) who is the sire of my first and third litters won Best of Breed
for the second time at our National Specialty. This is a fantastic accomplishment!
To top that off, he earned his open agility excellent title in Kimberton in the company of about
15 other Bedlington agility competitors.

My own Ashcroft dogs fared very well at the National too! Ch Ashcroft Sangeo Sonora won the
4th Award Of Merit in the Best of Breed class.

Ashcroft Varekai (Kai-Lee) was Winners Bitch and Best Of Winners for a 4 point major -
she finished the following month, Nov 26, 2005.

Ch Boardwalk Ticket To The Moon made the final cut in Best Of Breed. Ticket and Kai-Lee are
half-brother/sister, both sired by my Brady.
And my foundation bitch Ch Wrightwyn's Puttin On The Ritz won the Brood Bitch Class
with her daughters Ch Ashcroft Sangeo Sonora and
Ashcroft Varekai as her get.

I MUST thank Sandra Bethea who has allowed me to use Talyn to sire some lovely Bedlingtons,
and who groomed all the dogs I had entered, which definitely showed them in the best possible
light. Thanks also to Pat Mills who offered to handle whenever necessary; she took Ticket all
the way to the final cut at the National. My other very able assistant was Terri Tomola, who
with her partner Tisha Palmer saved us a spot to set up, and then Terri took Kai-Lee in for Best
Of Winners and Brood Bitch. It was good practice as Tisha and Terri will show Ashcroft Hart Of
A Lady in 2006. My sister Joan Most took Cocoa (Ch Wrightwyn's Puttin On The Ritz) into the
ring - it's was Joan's second time exhibiting a dog - the first was at the AKC/Eukanuba
Invitational in 2001.
Our thanks to judge Sharol Candace Way for these awards. She didn't remember, but she had
"finished" Ch Wrightwyn's Puttin On The Ritz several years ago, so I thought she might like the
"type" I was exhibiting to her. She realized they were related when we brought Nora and Kai-Lee
in with Cocoa for Brood Bitch, and later learned her BOB winner was Nora's sire. It certainly was
a "family affair".
Ticket achieves his AKC Championship with Best of Winners at the show in Middleburg PA August 27th 2005 after a few months off while I whelped puppies here at home.
